2017 Summer Institute

A two day institute that features nationally-recognized keynote speakers and a variety of concurrent sessions is offered each summer for teachers, teacher candidates, school leaders, researchers, community partners, and other stakeholders.  The event focuses on results-driven best practices for high poverty schools and at-risk learners.  2017 Summer Institute keynote speakers included Judy Willis, MD, Mike Kuczala, Robyn Jackson, and Gerry Brooks.   More than 40 breakout sessions were also included on the program attended by more than 500 educators from seven states.
